Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is celebrating his 36th birthday today by enjoying Sunday's win over the New York Giants and with birthday wishes from girlfriend Danica Patrick.

She took to Instagram to share a photo of the two of them on a beach and wish a happy birthday to "my best friend and favorite person in the world."

During an appearance on "The Dan Patrick Show" last month, she talked about what it's like for her to watch Rodgers play, being a former race car driver who was in a dangerous sport herself.

"When I watch, I'm not nervous, because I felt like when I was nervous it was because of things I had to do, like there was a responsibility. Don't crash this car. Be smart on restarts. Miss accidents. ...

"There's nothing I have to do when he's playing football, so I'm not really nervous, but I'll tell you when he's still holding onto the ball after a few seconds — obviously, he's great out of the pocket and he escapes many, many, many people trying to tackle him — I do get a little tense. ... 'OK, babe, OK, babe, throw that ball. OK, OK, babe.'"

Dan Patrick asked what she's like when she watches a Packers game.

"Quiet, focused and I jump up when things get good. Like if there's a touchdown or something, I just jump. ... I throw my hands in the air. It's like a mini workout for me. But I focus. I watch the whole thing."
